State Independent Living Council
The State Independent Living Council (SILC) is a Governor appointed body, offering people with disabilities control over the design of Oregon's Independent Living program services.
The program promotes a philosophy in American society of inclusion of people with disabilities as independent and productive participants.
Community Vision; Supported Living
Community Vision supports each individual experiencing developmental disabilities in a way that fits their life, providing supports that are unique to their needs, goals and dreams. This helps the individual live, work and thrive in the communities of their choice. Community Vision supports individuals in supported living with a wide range of support needs - from a few hours per week to 24 hours per day. The individual and the support team work together to create a customized vision of support that suits their needs and wishes. Community Vision assists the individual to find support staff that work well in their life and provide a variety of types of personal support.
Albertina Kerr Supported Living
Albertina Kerr’s Supported Living program offers individualized services based on personal preferences and needs. Individuals choose their own living situation and direct their own care with minimal direction from staff with a support system that is built around the specific needs of that person.
United Cerebral Palsy Supported Living
We provide daily living assistance, including live-in care, to support adults experiencing disabilities so that they may live in their own homes as independently as possible. Our goal is to ensure the people we support live as they choose.
