• Leadership I

    2020-2021

Roosevelt’s leadership program focuses on building classroom community and personal relationships while identifying and developing each student’s personal leadership style and skills. Students acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. Students develop leadership skills by engaging in a number of classroom activities, discussions, assignments and challenges that focus on leadership, communication, problem solving, decision-making, group processing and planning, evaluation and responsible citizenship.
